About our Curriculum
The primary goal of the Jackson Area Catholic Schools is to educate in the Catholic faith and to help develop spiritual and moral values in our students. Catholic spiritual development is emphasized in the curriculum and all our programs. Christian beliefs are integrated into our spiritual, academic, social and extracurricular programs.
Jackson Area Catholic Schools provide a coordinated sequential curriculum and expanded learning opportunities for all students. The curriculum integrates the Diocese of Lansing guidelines, state and national standards, and local expectations in establishing high performance academic standards to be achieved by all students.
The strong core curriculum of Religion, Science, Mathematics, English, Literature and Social Studies is supported by a variety of enrichment classes and programs. The Jackson Area Catholic Schools curriculum insures strong academic expectations and the development of the whole child.
